2019年6月28日，江西鄱阳湖二桥举行正式通车仪式，标志着环鄱阳湖地区的又一重要交通控制性工程正式投入使用。据介绍，鄱阳湖二桥全长5.589公里，起自江西都昌县多宝乡，终于庐山市华林镇。桥梁采用主跨达420米的双塔斜拉桥，尽可能减小桥墩物理障碍对鱼类迁移的影响。这也是中国第一大淡水湖鄱阳湖上建成的第二座大桥。
