I have started to map all the old railway lines, tramways and mineral railway lines in Ayrshire and Glasgow and facinated how many lines there used to be. This would be a great project for others to get involved with. The good thing about using OHS is its specifically for subject concerned and not a mix of things that are not of interest. Yes, roads and the occasional building can be added but main objective is to record every single rail line and once complete have a slider view with google/bing that can overlap and compare old and new.
